The Sky-Watcher Zoom 8-24 mm eyepiece is characterized by a good quality of the generated image while maintaining a comfortable distance between the exit pupil and the eyepiece, depending on the set focal length of 15-18 mm. The lenses are covered with MC type anti-reflective layers, which improve light transmission and allow to obtain bright and detailed images. The eyepiece can be used in any telescope equipped with a 1.25 “eyepiece extractor.

The Sky-Watcher Zoom 8-24 mm eyepiece is the eyepiece most often chosen by our customers that replaces the eyepieces added in the set. The smooth change of magnification available in this eyepiece replaces the entire set of eyepieces with focal lengths from 8 to 24 mm, while maintaining an affordable price and the same good image quality. An additional advantage of the zoom glasses is that you do not have to replace the eyepieces with different focal lengths in the eyepiece to quickly change the magnification of the telescope. In addition, there is a T2 thread under the eyecup, thanks to which you can connect any T-ring to the eyepiece, used to connect cameras with an interchangeable lens. In this way, it is possible to take pictures through eyeglass projection.

The Sky-Watcher 8-24 mm zoom eyepiece is unmatched when it comes to landscape and nature observations with telescopes as well as lens and Maksutov telescopes. Zoom eyepiece offer great flexibility in selecting the appropriate magnification for the observed object. Depending on the stability of the atmosphere, we can choose lower or higher magnifications, but we do not need several separate eyepieces. An additional feature that facilitates observation is the parfocality of the eyepiece. This means that when you zoom in, you don’t have to refocus.
