The Delta Optical Discovery 30 microscope is a simple educational grade stereoscopic microscope that can also be used for many other purposes. The available magnification range is 10x, 20x, 30x and 60x, allowing you to observe small, non-transparent objects, e.g. insects, plants, minerals, coins, stamps, etc.
The microscope is intended for observation in reflected light. For this purpose, you can use natural light, a lamp or, preferably, a dedicated gooseneck illuminator (available separately). It allows you to precisely adjust the angle of incidence of light and, for example, to observe gaps or openings.
Working with the Delta Optical Discovery 30 stereoscopic microscope does not require the use of tools, basic and coverslips. You just need to find the right object and place it directly under the microscope. Therefore, children can also use it independently.
To the microscope, through an optional 30.5 mm adapter, you can attach a digital eyepiece camera or a professional microscope camera, mounted in one of the eyepiece tubes. It will allow you to take photos and record videos, allowing you to document microscopic observations and share them with others.
Lens | Eyepiece | Total magnification | Field of view |
