- Diameter 120 mm
- Height 20 mm
- Material: glass
Transparent glass dishes, approximately 120 mm in diameter and 20 mm high. The smaller and the larger pan, overlapping each other, form a closed container.
The petri dish is a convenient base and vessel for observing (e.g. small organisms, also living) under stereoscopic microscopes. It can be used as a vessel when observing aquatic organisms (including plants that do not dry out during observation due to immersion in water) or small preparations, loose materials (e.g. soil samples). A petri dish is useful in the process of preparing your own preparations. It helps to keep order and prevents the microscope from getting dirty.
