The most popular series of Celestron spotting scopes – Ultima, are high-quality and economical spotting scopes with variable magnification (zoom), available in three sizes and in a straight and angled version. The heart of each Ultima spotting scope is an achromatic lens with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, which provides a clean, clear and sharp image with high contrast. The eyepiece used in Celestron Ultima spotting scopes allows for smooth change of the magnification (zoom) of the spotting scope in a wide range, thanks to which Ultima spotting scopes allow viewing both vast landscapes and focusing on a specific element of it, e.g. game, birds, architectural elements or people. Celestron Ultima straight spotting scopes are excellent for observations from a balcony or terrace or during field observations, e.g. the other side of a lake. In turn, angled telescopes can be used in almost any application, and even turned towards the sky, so you can watch the Moon, planets or brighter objects such as nebulae and star clusters, especially the 100 mm model, which collects a lot of light so it is best suited for typical night observations. Ultima 65, on the other hand, is a very compact optical instrument that you can take literally anywhere, e.g. in a backpack for a mountain or bicycle trip. Telescopes with an 80 lens are the most universal, they are commonly used in nature or aircraft observations. The Ultima 80 telescope offers variable magnification (zoom) from 20 to 60x. A case is included. Can be connected to a mirror camera. Ultima 80 mm, with a slightly larger lens than the Ultima 65 mm model, offers 50% brighter images than the smaller model!
The Ultima 20-60x80mm features a 45° viewing angle and offers a step up in aperture from the 65mm, offering 50% brighter images. The 80mm refractor features excellent multi-coated optics packed into a portable and durable refractor design and it comes standard with a 20-60x zoom eyepiece.
This series was designed to perform well in a range of viewing situations, making it a great all-around optical instrument. You’ll love it for observing nature and long distance spotting and since it is completely waterproof you can feel comfortable using it in extreme weather. The green rubber optical tube allows for subtle observation in any nature environment. Ultima spotters are a great companion for any nature or outdoor enthusiast. Soft carrying case included.
