The high 4K resolution of 3840&#215;2160 pixels guarantees the best possible image result.<\/p>\n<p><b>Sensor<\/b><\/p>\n<div>The secret to the high light sensitivity is\u00a0<b>SONY&#8217;s new back illuminated Exmor CMOS sensor<\/b>. It increases the quantum efficiency to up to 77 % at 533 nm, which leads to an extremely high light sensitivity and thus particularly bright and high-contrast photos. In addition, the\u00a0<b>particularly low noise level<\/b>\u00a0of this new CMOS sensor generation by SONY ensures exceptionally high brilliance and\u00a0<b>no active cooling is required<\/b>. Nevertheless, this astro camera has an elaborate internal structure made of aluminum for ideal heat radiation and a fan that can be switched on via software. When used with suitable telescopes, the\u00a0<b>high native pixel resolution of 3840&#215;2160<\/b>\u00a0enables very nice\u00a0<b>overview images of the moon, but also detailed planetary images<\/b>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Solar Imaging<\/b><\/div>\n<div>This camera is also recommended for solar astro-photography.\u00a0<b>Especially the Lunt LS40 THa solar telescopes (item No. 0551145\/0551146\/0551147) with the short focal length together with this planetary camera with large sensor, allow great overview images of the sun.<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>Important Note:<\/b>\u00a0When observing and taking photos of the sun, always use a suitable protective solar filter or a special solar telescope. Otherwise there is a risk of immediate blindness and damage to the camera.<\/div>\n<p><b>Software<\/b><br \/>\nThe included\u00a0<b>Explore-Capture professional software<\/b>\u00a0offers not only the necessary basic functions\u00a0<b>for image and video capture<\/b>, but additionally many helpful\u00a0<b>special functions for image post-processing<\/b>\u00a0and for setting up the guider.\u00a0<b>Functions such as live image display, exposure settings, white balance, dark image capture, stacking, timelapse recording and much more can be configured individually<\/b>. Especially the very sophisticated software makes it really easy for you to get started in astrophotography.\u00a0<b>With the automatic settings you can produce absolutely presentable results without a lot of prior knowledge<\/b>. If you like, simply switch off the automatic settings and gradually venture into the individual professional settings.<\/p>\n<p><b>Automatic tracking control<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Connect the camera directly to the ST4 port of your telescope mount<\/b>\u00a0and you have a fully automatic tracking control. Thus,\u00a0<b>long exposures of several minutes are possible<\/b>\u00a0without the stars producing unwanted star traces due to the always existing periodic error of the telescope mount gears. A corresponding ST-4 connection cable is even included with the camera. Because of the high light sensitivity of the camera, you will always find a suitable guide star even with very short exposure times.\u00a0<b>Simple automatic tracking at its best.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Connection<\/b><br \/>\n<b>For the connection to telescopes, guiding scopes or off-axis guiders the camera has a 1.25&#8221;
